An exhibition of the artist Nicol Francis Hendruk and Helena Lněničková, a graduate of the Faculty of English at MU, who will combine expressive figurative drawing with poetry.

Panel exhibition on the fence of the faculty on Gorkého Street showing all items on UNESCO world lists and registers from the Maghreb countries – Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, and Tunisia.

Exhibition: Teodora Nešković, Eden's Echoes

Eden’s Echoes intertwine self-reflection, myth, and poetry. A red dress, floating textiles, verses, and sculptures in light and shadow guide through a symbolic landscape where the feminine spirit meets nature, mythology, and word. The gallery breathes, inviting contemplation and discovery.

Advent Concert by Ensemble Versus: Old and New

Philosophical Journeys

Prof. Alena Rettová will present a documentary film that was made during the Philosophy and Genre: Creating a Textual Basis for African Philosophy research project. The film's protagonist, Congolese philosopher Dr. Albert Kasanda, will also attend the screening. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Prof. Rettová and Dr. Kasanda.

Swedish Christmas concert

This year, the Brno SIST Choir continues the renewed traditions of popular Christmas concerts. Get ready for the mysterious atmosphere of a long winter night, enhanced by candlelight and beautiful (perhaps not only) Nordic music. The whole concert will be in the spirit of celebrating the feast of St. Lucia. The choir will perform songs celebrating Lucia, as well as Swedish Christmas songs.
