The decision was made by Dean Irena Radová. Classes will begin on Monday, 23 September 2024.
"Due to the current situation, I have decided to cancel teaching at the Faculty of Arts MU in the upcoming week (16-20 September 2024). Although the Faculty is not in immediate danger, I know that many people have to solve other problems than thinking about teaching, and it can be expected that the traffic situation in the Czech and Slovak Republic will not be favourable either," explained the Dean.
This applies to the placement test at the Department of Czech for Foreigners. It is rescheduled for Thursday, Sept 19, for 8.30 am.
She also urged students not to be afraid to ask for help. "I hope you and your loved ones have as much as possible escaped the floods. Suppose it hasn't; don't be afraid to ask for help. The MU Volunteer Center is ready to help, or you can offer your strength to help others here," she added.
