The objective of the project is the completion, documentation analysis and archeological and historical evaluation of inventor sources of burial grounds of the Neolithic people with linear potter (LnR) in Vedrovice I (the location "Široka u lesa" - at le ast 11 graves) and II (the location "Za dvorem" - so far at least 16 graves) as well as 14 skeletons of the LnK people found in the settlement near Vedrovice. All this material comes from field investigations carry out by the staff of the Moravian Provin cial Museum in Brno in 1975 1996, and still not elaborated. These archeological sources are o unique importance (the burial ground Vedrovice I is the oldest and s far only ancient continuously explored burial site in the Czech Republic and one of the ver y few in Central Europe). The project will require a comprehensive interdisciplinary elaboration and evaluation of the funerary accumulation of Vedrovice and (together with other complex burial grounds of the LnK in Moravia) in the widest Europe context
