| Description | One of the main critiques of parapsychology is a lack of replication, but it's proponents argue that the requirement has been met. It is shown that both sides understand this requirement in different way. Several meanings of replication should be discriminated – statistical replication, short and long-term reliable replication, two types of independent replication, retrospective and prospective replication. Reasonable debate on parapsychology without discriminating these types explicitly is not possible. |
