Description The article is concerned with the history of members of the House of Střižov (or House from Rokštejn) in the second half of the 14th century. In 1359 two sons of Ješek from Rokštejn are documented - Ješek from Střižov and his brother of the same name. Ješek from Střižov is documented at a later date. Inheritor of the family manor (Přimělkov, Střižov, Komarovice, Ozřetin) and builder of the Střižov church choir, he ultimately lost his family's possesions. Jan Střižovec from Rokštejn is the second documented person. Most likely he was castellan and owner of the castle Rokštejn in 1374-1398. The article looks into the identity of these two persons as the brothers from the document from 1359 and their fates. New sources allow a more detailed view of the decline of this family in the second half of the 14th century and at the history of the castle Rokštejn.
