Description Hungarian researcher Imre Holl identified, among archaeological finds from the Buda castle, a large stove tile series from "knight stoves". The large tile collections and individual pieces of tiles come from several locations in Hungary as well as outside its borders, including the Czech lands where the original tiles and their modified versions featured, in the second half of the 15th century, in castle and burgher house interiors. The newly-discovered fragment of a tile with a knight in tournament from the Moravian chateau of Police (Třebíč district) can be also classified with this category. The identical details of the relief and almost 30%-reduction in size indicate that the tile might be a replica, an imprint of type 5/b Buda tile from the second row of a "knight stove" extension.
