Description The expansion of biotechnology has transformed the structure an artwork which interlinks digital media with genes, cells and tissues, briefly live media. The resulting art projects cover the advanced computer technology, the impact of which exceeds the digital sphere and influence events in vivo or in vitro. It is a broad-area of bioart using moistmedia that have the potential to create a new mode of coexistence of nature and technology. Production in this area requires a certain symbiosis between art and science. These new sci-art sculptures actively intervene in scientific research but also shift our thinking towards systems thinking
