| Description | This work describes specific customs which are practised before a childbirth and have an immediate connection to it. In transition rites there is an evident reason for using so many prohibitions and recommendations for the pregnant woman, we can also find here a mix of paganism and christianity and also the emphasis on the protection of the mother and the new born baby too. |
