Description	This chapter presents approaches to teaching children and pupils with severe disabilities in Germany, which are compared with the current trends in the Czech Republic. We offer definition of a severe disability, characteristics of special educational support, support policy for pupils with severe disabilities, and the requirements for teaching them.
