| Description | Stone sickles of the Early Bronze Age in Moravia are analysed and interpreted not only from the morphological point of view, but also with respect to raw material type and quality, the functional characteristics of the edge and back, the results of experimental crop growing, and distribution patterns. Social and assumed symbolic connotations are revisited with regards to the archaeological context and general symbolic culture of Early Bronze Age societies in Central Europe. |
