| Description | Anglo American Reception Ingarden s Concept of the Literary Work analyzes the rather sporadically occurring critical reception of Ingarden s concept of the literary work of art within the Anglo-American aesthetics and philosophy. The aim is to present Ingarden's ontological and epistemological theory of the literary work of art as interpreted in a mainly analytically thinking environment emerging Anglo Saxon philosophical traditions heritage. Finally, this thesis tries to "argumentizate" the topic, namely to transpose some basic concepts and ideas of Ingarden´s theory into a concept framework of analytic aesthetics. |
