| Description | Pieter De Buysser is Flamish philosopher, essayist, theratremaker and novelist. He writes texts which are published in media and travel with his theatre plays across Europe. His debut, philosophicaly-political novel The Stonecutters (Argo, 2016) was published also in Czech language. De Buysser wrote his reaction on terrorist attack in Paris - „In occasion of re-opening bistro Le comptoir Voltaire“ („Bij de heropening van Le comptoir Voltaire“), which was published in Flamish newspaper De Standaard and was took over in German and Czech press too. These mentioned examples of Pieter De Buysser work are the reason, why I consider him as a typical „public intellectual“, commited artist, who feels urge to come out publicly with his opinions. |
