| Description | The exhibition of significant Brno artist brought a new series of paintings from 2015. Hayek's work is mainly focused on natural materials, which he transmits in two-color contrast on the screen, creating sometimes geometric, sometimes organic structures. The previous exhibition in Leoš Janáček Memorial in 2013 presented the structures that were based on the strips for the automatophone Manopan on which a piece of music is recorded using a system of holes. In a new series Hayek focuses on another automatophone and its medium - Polyfon. The notation is made on metal discs and the structure is designed in a circle. |
