| Description | Actual monograph on Gottfried Lindauer has been published to his same-named exhibition in the Auckland Art Gallery. A described chapter in the monograph is devoted to the analysis of three themes: 1) Lindauer´s artistic beginnings and early career in central Europe, 2) New Zealand through the eyes of this Czech artist, 3) Comparison of his European and New Zealand work. The chapter is based on an actual research, for instance the comparison of both parts of Lindauer´s oeuvre has not been accomplished until now. |
