| Description | The study dedicated to the violin capriccios by František Benda introduced typical signs of these works by analizyng selected capriccios. Opinions dealing with the core of Benda's violin art are cited. Differences in the form southward and northward from the Alps are shown on the continuous history of the term "capriccio". The study should be an inspiration for violin players and teachers to seek technical material on their way to a complex technical interpretation. |
