| Description | The paper deals with the Vučine comics series by Sonja Gašperov. We focus on the existential moments in the lives of the main characters, such as love, death, children's births or looking for the meaning of life. We want to show how comics is able to work with the serious moments of human existence which is a proof of leaving the borders of "popular" culture that is created for mass consumption. |
