Description These proceedings analyze the development of social groups and networks during the transformation of society within the territory of the former Bohemian Crown Lands from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century. The authors’ task was to reflect on the development of research in the above-mentioned areas and to attempt to define the historical social, economic and political processes which led to the emergence of social networks, their transformation, and ultimately also their decline—primarily in connection with the concept of power.
