Description The article aimed at possibilities and limits of education in collaborative immersive virtual environments (CIVE); particularly while using geographic educational tasks. While there has not been a wide consent on the general influence of VR on education, very often task-dependence is neglected is related research. Geographic tasks provide some great opportunities in this regard. Identifying some other topic where using VR could be beneficial was the objective of this article.
