| Description | The Ancient Days event was a several-day scholarly and sports event for the students of primary and secondary schools, universities and the general public. After the scientific conference, the ancient games were organized as a revival of the ancient Olympic games. The participants competed with the historical equipment and according to the original rules in pentathlon, runs, hoplitodromos, wrestling, glima and kabbadi. The event was organized by the Ancient Society, a student-public association established at the Department of Classical Studies, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. |
