| Description | The study tries to show how generative grammar looks at a passive and aims to analyze an external argument in Czech long passive structure. It explains the derivation of the thematic interpretation of the DP with the instrumental case expressing the external argument in the passive structure, i.e. the argument that occupies the subject position in the active structure. |
