Description The review article evaluates the long-expected monograph of the indologist Michael Witzel from Harvard University. The author classifies the myths of all over the world into two groups, innovative and archaic, using for them the names taken from geology, Laurasian and Gondwanan respectively. In the review there are added linguistic arguments in support of this classification.
