| Description | In this conference contribution I presented the problematics of the subjunctive mood in the local German dialect of the village of Zeche (Malinová). The presentation focused on the possibilities of expressing the subjunctive mood in said dialect which differ from the standard German language and the German dialects. The focus was on the modal verb “wollen” which is being used as an auxiliary verb to express the subjunctive mood. This feature is not common in the varieties of German. |
