Description The aim of this paper is to present the results of geophysical measurements at Staré zámky site near Brno-Líšeň, which was carried out in 2019. Electrical resistivity tomography, georadar survey and areal magnetic prospection were all carried out there. The primary task of the first two methods was to define the inner structure of the still existing ramparts and to identify their individual structural elements. Magnetic research focused on localisation of areas, which can be described as potential archaeological features and on up to now unknown fortifications. It was predominantly successful. We have found several settlement features from different phases of settlement, early medieval cemetery and fortifications of various types, sizes and state of preservation. Previous archaeological research of the site played important role in interpretation of geophysical data. Staré Zámky hillfort seems to be a complex fortified settlement. New questions emerged, which cannot be answered by geophysical research alone.
