Citation
Description The Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko (1842-1912) entered the history of Ukrainian artificial music not only as the founder of nationally oriented Ukrainian music, but also as the forerunner of scientifically working music folklorists, who raised the current method of writing and harmonizing Ukrainian vocal and instrumental folklore to a qualitatively new level. The article will present the main principles that Lysenko set himself in his musical-folkloristic activities, and which then became largely binding for future generations of Ukrainian folklorists.
