| Description | This is a chapter in the catalog for the exhibition "LV 100", which was organized by the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava in 2020. The chapter deals with the scenography of productions of three opera novelties of the day: Juro Jánošík (1954, SND), Beg Bajazid (1957, SND) by the Slovak composer Ján Cikker and Svätopluk (1960, SND) also by the Slovak composer Eugen Suchoň. The scenography was created by Ladislav Vychodil, to whom the entire publication is dedicated, in collaboration with the Czech opera director Miloš Wasserbauer. |
