| Description | The chapter deals with possibilities of using selected forms of therapeutic dance in inclusive education. It distinguishes therapeutic dance from exercises and dance on the one hand and from dance psychotherapy on the other. It presents four approaches of therapeutic dance: psychobalet, primitive expression, circular dances and autoestima flamenca (self-esteem in flamenco). It clearly addresses what therapeutical dance is and what effect it has, what results we can expect from current research. Finally, indication or contraindication of therapeutic dance are discussed. |
