| Description | The aim of the paper is to evaluate the seals of Prague bishops in the Přemyslid period, not only by means of their own seals, but also using other relevant sources (e.g., descriptions of seals in medieval and early modern documents, and in 19th century pen-and-ink drawings). This also includes the seals of other clergy that may indicate some general phenomena of the observed period. Despite being relatively well-mapped, research on the seals of Prague bishops has shown that new facts can still be discovered, whether it relates to the form of the seals or their preservation and use. |
