| Description | Prof. PhDr. Marie Krčmová, CSc., professor of Czech studies from Brno, is turning 80 these days and we bring an interview with her student to the jubilee. The interview starts with studies of teacher training. As Marie Krčmová is a long-serving university teacher, some aspects of teaching phonetics and phonology or stylistics are discussed both on general level and on concrete examples. The interview also touches other professional interests of professor Krčmová, especially research of language situation in Brno from the dialectal and socilogical points of view. We point out close connection of all disciplines the professor devoted her professional life to. |
