Description String Quartet in G minor by Osvald Chlubna (1893–1971) represents composer's first work for string quartet. Brno-born composer, student of Leoš Janáček, whose composing career spans through his whole life, created operas, orchestral, chamber and vocal works. This publication of his first string quartet is the first ever and contains the critical edition of both versions of the work (1925 and 1937). The edition was published exactly fifty years since the death of the composer and is based on unique manuscripts from MZK.
