| Description | This synoptic study deals with contemporary publications researching collective and political violence in central Europe from 1917 to 1923. It presents the basic theses and methods from just under a dozen analysed works. For the period under review it identifies the three content trends in research on violence to which most historiographical output is devoted (violence motivated by different antagonisms: nationalist, social-revolutionary and ethnic/religious). It gives an outline of current trends in research into collective violence. |
