| Description | The Exile lay Catholic organisation Opus bonum collaborated from its foundation with the organisation Ackermann-Gemeinde founded by Sudetenland Germans who were displaced after the Second World War. The relationships between both organisations were however being complicated by Czech religious service in Germany which claimed the hegemony in activities for Czech exiled people and at the same time saw Ackermann-Gemeinde as an unsuitable partner. In the years 1971–1979 many arguments thus happened which had an existential influence for Opus bonum. The phenomenon which is described points to the discontinuity between modern and traditional social institutions. |
