Description The addresses songs as ubiquitous elements of all known cultures which play a prominent role in human behavior and interactions. It argues for the utility of the research on music-language interface which can help deciphering the nature of meaningful representations as well as the organization of meaning in the brain. Since conceptual representations are not looked up in memory but rather dynamically created and highly context dependent, the meaning of a song is composed during listening from the music-contained information and the text-contained information.
