| Description | Based on research and practical experience, this presentation deals with the task to balance three roles of higher education institutions: teaching, research/development, and so-called third mission. It highlights the need to interlink these three roles, but also points out the challenges and potential tensions of the execution of all these roles at the same time. Specific attention is paid to the concept of the third mission and its implementation in practice. |
