| Description | The e-learning course Introduction to the Study of Classical Philology serves as a basic introduction to the vast discipline of classical philology, its subsidiary sciences, and the other tools it uses. The course provides students with overview information on the auxiliary disciplines of the field, helps basic orientation in the literature, and offers information on professional journals and other tools and aids that are a necessary part of philological work (dictionaries, bibliographic inventories, encyclopedias, inscriptional corpora, databases).
