Description There were settlements built in the central region of Thailand that flowed into the Gulf of Siamese. Isan communities bred silkworms and used natural dyes such as indigo, fruit wood, cumin root, various mosses, berries and turmeric bark, substances of such colourful colours are seen everywhere in Thailand. The 9th century ports of Ko Kho Khao and Laem Pho in southern Thailand are uniquely rich in fragments of Chinese porcelain, Middle Eastern glass and glazed ceramics. They quickly adapted to new conditions created through interactions of their own tradition with elements of other cultures. International business interactions have thus influenced Thai culture and society. The aim of this project was to popularize the theme of the southeastern part of the Silk Road.
