Description In accordance with the trends of the time, especially the theses of concretism (whose club in Czechoslovakia he co-founded in 1967), the activation of the viewer, the processuality of perception and thematization of movement were essential in the early work of Jiří Hilmar (* 1937). The ideas of concretism have already been defined in interwar art, by Theo van Doesburg, who used it for the first time in 1930 and he also formulated this term, and later in the 1930s by the main promoter of this artistic movement, Max Bill. De Stijl, Bauhaus, but also the Russian avant-garde were then followed in the 1950s by the activities of the Swiss neoconcretists led by Richard Paul Lohs, and partly also by kinetic art within the Düsseldorf Zero movement, the Paris GRAV group, the Padua Gruppo N and the Milan Gruppo T.
