Citation
Description Artistic manifestos can be understood as a theoretical reflection announcing new procedures in art, new ways of depicting reality. In other words, it is the announcement of a set of rules for a new creation or a new concept of art. The aim of the contribution will be to present Czech artistic manifestos with regard to how and to what extent they recommend, reject or defend precisely the narrative, descriptive and performative procedures in artistic creation, to which they call for changes. Texts from the Manifesto of Czech Modernity to the Manifesto of Radical Realism will be presented in chronological order.
