| Description | The research is based on the study of the professional discourse of the Holocaust between 1960 and 1989 and focuses on the narratives concerning Terezín that were present in the official professional discourse during this period of time. In particular, it examines narratives influenced by the power dominance of the Communist Party about both the Small Fortress of Terezín and the Terezín Ghetto. A brief introduction will also be made to the pre-1964 situation. The entire research is based on an analysis of both published monographs and historiographical production in contemporary periodicals. |
