Description Food and drink do not only serve to satisfy basic human needs, but can also have a symbolic dimension. We will therefore attempt to highlight the specific features of Czech gastronomy through several areas, whether it be the Czech beer tradition, specific dishes or the mutual communication between gastronomy and works of art, where not only are dishes depicted in various works of art, but works of art can also help to promote gastronomy.
