| Description | The study focuses on the prose work of Václav Renč, a poet and playwright of the spiritual line of Czech literature. The study follows it in two stages of its creation: in the 1930s to 1940s and at the end of the author’s life, in the early 1970s. The text looks for place of Renč´s prose in the author’s oeuvre, for connections with Renč’s poetic and dramatic work. It draws attention to partial characteristic motifs (e.g. the motif of the child) and other typical features on the author’s prose work for children. |
