| Description | Although Anabaptists were present in southern Moravia in more than seventy villages and towns during the 16th and early 17th centuries, reliably identifiable Anabaptist burial grounds that would allow deeper insight into the biology of these communities are almost entirely absent. The burial ground near Přibice is a notable exception, yielding remains of more than 200 individuals over eight excavation seasons. The exhibition presents the Hutterites of Přibice within the broader context of Anabaptist settlement in Moravia and introduces the results of their multidisciplinary research. |
