| Description | Artificial intelligence has already entered the domain of artistic creation and is transforming our understanding of what we actually consider art. The concept of originality is shifting from the final result to the very process itself — to the stage of prompting, where human imagination intersects with computational probability. The prompt thus becomes a new form of creative invention in which the author and the algorithm share the role of creator. Yet a question arises: what does it mean to be an author today, when creation unfolds through an algorithm that not only generates but also shapes our aesthetic expectations? Why is it often crucial for our aesthetic judgement to know whether a work is the result of human labor or artificial intelligence? Here, aesthetic experience reveals itself more as a relationship than a property of the work itself. This contribution examines whether the machine can be a partner in the process of aesthetic thinking, or whether it remains merely a sophisticated imitator. It also asks how “originality without consciousness” reshapes human creativity, which is learning to understand itself anew in dialogue with technology. |
