Description The contribution stems from empirical data collected via standardized interviews (a questionnaire) from a characteristic sample of adult population aged from 20 to 65 in the year 2005. I follow the question if Czech adults look for help in different areas of their lives and thereby create another learning opportunity in the scope of informal learning in this contribution. The attention is also paid to the fact how looking for, or not looking for help, is related to participation and planning of participation in further education at the same time.
