Description | In the first third of the 20th century Ladislav Klíma (1878–1928) and Karel Vorovka (1879–1929) belonged to representatives of Czech idealist, i.e. non-positivist oriented philosophy, characterized as well as irrationalist. The author of the paper pays attention to friendly relation of the two thinkers, apparent in their appreciative, but not totally affirmative reviews: Vorovka reviewed Klímas book Traktáty a diktáty including Klímas major texts proposing explication of basic metaphysical notions; Klíma, on the other hand, reviewed Vorovkas collection of articles Polemos dealing with contemporary discussion on the direction of the Czech philosophy after the war. The friendship between Vorovka and Klíma is reflected as well in some letters of Vorovka, published in annex by the author of the paper. |
