Brno's HaDivadlo theater opened its 51st season under the new leadership of Jana Vaverková, Justina Grecová, and Jan Doležel. Graduates of JAMU's Theatre Faculty presented HaDivadlo's new visual identity and the upcoming season's premieres.

The first new production will be an original staging of Joan of Arc, scheduled for November 21. The trio of Vaverková, Grecová, and Doležel plan to approach Joan of Arc as a theme in which a universal young person fights for their truth despite social conventions. The second premiere, on February 21, 2026, will offer an adaptation of Marek Torčík's debut novel Rozložíš paměť (You Will Break Down Memory). "This autofictional text about the traumatic upbringing of a queer person in the Moravian countryside will be staged by guest director Ondřej Štefaňák, who is the artistic director of Divadlo X10," said HaDivadlo spokeswoman Tereza Turzíková. The season will conclude with Max Frisch's satirical drama Pan Biedermann a žháři (Mr Biedermann and the Fire Raisers), which exposes the mechanisms of cowardice, bystanderism, and passive consent to evil. Jan Doležel will direct, with the premiere scheduled for May 22, 2026.

HaDivadlo's new visual identity features the motif of aviation and winged theatre artists. Under the slogan Let's Fly Together, it refers to the ensemble's beginnings in Prostějov in the 1970s and, according to the new management, continues the original symbol of Milivoj Husák: an aviator soaring to new heights, but it is uncertain whether he will succeed in his flight. He is flying with broken or even burning wings.

Discounted tickets for students can be purchased at the HaDivadlo box office for CZK 100 as part of a last-minute offer, i.e., 15 minutes before the performance. Students in art disciplines can buy tickets at this price at any time by presenting a valid student ID card or an active profile in the IS.

The discount for Faculty of Arts MU employees allows them to purchase tickets for a flat price of CZK 160. "Just say the password 'Su z Fildy' at the box office and show your MU employee card. If you would like to reserve tickets first and pick them up and pay later, for example, before the start of the performance, you can do so by calling +420 530 330 869 or +420 731 457 204, or by emailing pokladna@hadivadlo.cz. When making a reservation, provide the agreed password and show your employee card when picking up your tickets in person at the box office," Turzíková explained.
