Do you cycle to work? Take advantage of the new racks or showers right on the faculty campus

In cooperation with the Building Management, we have provided several innovations on the premises of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University that can make your journey to work on a bike more pleasant and encourage you to travel sustainably.

New bicycle racks have been installed in front of Building C (in the direction from Grohova Street, between the gate and the service entrance). Their location should be more secure than the existing racks by the gatehouse. Nevertheless, we recommend that bikes are always locked properly. If you own a more expensive bike, you can also store it in your office.

There are also several showers available on the premises:

• Building D: Here, the shower is located under the porter's lodge, accessible via the staircase behind the mailroom. Please always inform the lodge before using it.
• Building F (Central Library): Here, you will find a shower on the 1st underground floor, but it is primarily accessible only when the library is open (9:00-20:00). Access outside of library hours is available by employee card through the service entrance in the basement, accessible via the sidewalk along Building C. If you are interested, please contact Jiří Žgánič Šprdlík to arrange access.
• Building J: For details on how to use the showers, please contact the lodge in Building G.

In all cases, you need to bring your own towel and toiletries. Of course, showers are available not only for cyclists, but also for those of you who come on a scooter, run, or simply need to freshen up in the hot weather.
