| Description | The paper, referring to the history of the 1970s-1990s Czech historiography, was dedicated to the definition of the so-called Mannerism in the works of historian Josef Válka. It argues that Válka attempted a broadly conceived cultural-historical conception of the period, envisaged as a transitory, dynamic phase between the pre-White Mountain time on the one hand and the Baroque on the other. |
