Description Southeastern Moravia stands out for its folklore traditions, which the inhabitants of this region have been actively practicing and developing for generations. Participation in folklore activities tends to be associated with psychological phenomena such as social interaction, identity, belonging, engagement and community building. This study examines the relationship between involvement in folklore activities in Southeast Moravia and personal well-being. Qualitative interviews conducted with folklorists identified key themes related to their subjective experience of folklore life. The data collected will inform the design of planned quantitative research that explores the relationship between folklore practice and psychological well-being. In the context of urbanization and globalization, the study of these relationships is considered a valuable source of knowledge with the potential to strengthen the resilience of society in the face of modern challenges.
