Description The paper proposes how bibliotherapy can be used to support adolescent students during literature lessons. In the first part, bibliotherapy is briefly introduced, and its use in secondary school teaching is discussed. The second part shows how bibliotherapy can benefit adolescent students based on their developmental specificities. In the third part, we find support for the presented approach in curricular documents and current didactic trends. Finally, we consider the potential of fantasy literature in bibliotherapy for adolescents.
