What can you study?

From January 1, 2026, the admission process will be open for two newly accredited doctoral study programs, starting in the fall semester of 2026: Linguistics and Literary Philology.

It is no longer possible to submit applications for the following doctoral study programs: English Linguistics, Area-Based Philological Studies, Classical Philology, Comparative Indo-European Linguistics, Czech Language, Czech Literature, English Linguistics, Germanic Languages, Germanic Literatures, Indo-European Comparative Linguistics, Classical Philology, Medieval Latin Studies, Comparative Literature, Literatures in English, General Linguistics, Romance Languages, Romance Literatures, Slavic Languages, Slavic Literatures, and Narrative Theory.
